From a small team of passionate developers to a leading African technology partner.
BamStarTech started in 2018 when four developers came together in Nairobi with a shared frustration: technology solutions were either too expensive for small businesses or too complex for everyday developers. We believed there had to be a better way.
What began as a consulting side project quickly grew into something bigger. Our clients weren't just looking for code – they wanted partners who understood their challenges and could guide them through digital transformation. At the same time, developers in our network were seeking a platform to collaborate, solve problems, and advance their skills.
Today, BamStarTech serves over 500 clients across Africa and our community has grown to more than 10,000 active developers. But our core mission remains the same: make technology accessible, foster collaboration, and deliver excellence in every project we touch.
